She brings to the table nearly ten years running a successful small business dedicated to helping local community members transform their lives for the better. Leigh understands the unique challenges of being a small business owner and entrepreneur and knows that the best thing the government can often do is get out of the way. Leigh is a wife and mother. Her husband of 25 years, Dennis, and she have three children: Bradon, Cade, and RK. Each has grown up in Shelby County and been a part of the public school system. Leigh is a proud graduate of Auburn University. She currently serves as President Pro Tem for the City of Helena. One of the recent successful projects she has helped lead was bringing Chick-fil-A and added infrastructure improvements to the city. She is proud of her fiscally conservative, pro-jobs mindset and approach to servant leadership. Over the last nine years as a Council Member, she has helped create financial reserves of over $4.2M. This was done while maintaining current services and even adding improvements to the city's schools, police, fire, and recreation departments.
